Camping Checklist

This is my camping and holiday checklist which has served me well. You might wish to print it out and add any things specific to yourself for future use.

  • Tent: Inner tent (net and groundsheet), outer tent (flysheet), poles, pegs, guy lines. Possibly spare pegs, a repair kit and a mallet depending on the ground you will be pitching on.
  • Rucksack, and rucksack liner bag (or bin bags) for waterproofing.
  • Water bottles. On average a person needs 2-2.5litres of water a day, this varies on daily exertion.
  • Water purification tablets and milbank (filter) bag, or all-in-one system. For wild camping.
  • Sleeping bag.
  • Inflatable pillow, and mat or airbed. For a pillow I wrap a towel around my rucksack.

  • Walking boots.
