With views like this I hope you will see that there is so much diverse beauty and wonder to discover around Great Britain and indeed on your own doorstep. From flat sandy golden  beaches that stretch for miles and teem with wildlife to spectacular rugged coastlines or mountains and valleys, what could be better and greener than taking a break in the UK? I'm not saying never go abroad, travel is good for the soul and such an uplifting experience, you will find many articles on how you can travel with a low or zero impact on the environment on this page.

Researching and building this website I have learned of so many places I would just love to go and explore. Take a look at the county listings in Countryside or Coast to see what natural wonders you could be experiencing in England, Scotland or Wales.
